Creating Low Poly Character and HyperNURBS in Cinema 4D
I’m tying to create a basic tutorial in Cinema 4D, creating a little cute character, space octopus. In this tutorial I’ll start by creating a sphere and changing the segments to 8. Then using Matrix Extrude to create tentacles and using Inner Extrude and Extrude to create the helmet. And then drop my sphere inside a HyperNURBS. I’m not really happy with my accent, but I can not help it.

Great tuorial! I am looking for tutorials on creating characters in C4D. There are hardly any out there. I would really like to see a more thorough video tut on how to make characters, with arms, eyes and other details. Are there any more such tuts out there?

Actually one of the reasons that I started to make these types of tutorials was because I could not find that much of low poly character ones in C4D, so I’m trying to learn them myself and make tutorials. I’ll have some more next week. Also most of the tutorials that I found online,claiming too do low polygon modeling, but they use to much polygons that I can not consider them low poly.
